Is there a way to make an animated symbol, such as an arrow starting at a given point then extending to a final point with an arrowhead? If not, can it be considered for a future release? Thanks.

Hello, the idea you're talking about can be realized by means of a GIF image or a static one made dynamic with the help of keyframes. All you need to do is to find a suitable image and then add it as a new photo layer. Move to the Animation tab and add as many keyframes as you want to make your arrow steadily move across the slide. With a GIF image, it's even easier since you simply create a new layer and the image moves on its own.
