I think some of the forumites may want slideshows for advertising purposes. For instance, I need one to advertise my flower shop and its services. So what tricks can you recommend?

seecynon recommended showing "business premises, then the happy staff, then some examples of your flower arrangements and layouts and accessories. Use text blurbs to explain things such as prices/delivery options/other services etc".

Everything depends on what you are going to promote, I think. As a marketing management student I can tell you that it is easier to to hire a promotional video company. It's better to create nothing than to make a bad promo advert. Speaking about flowers, you should first specify the way your customers you think are going to watch it. Will it be a TV-ad?or youtube? or your website? The target audience here is different, and you should approach it in different ways.
