Topic: how to make the first picture in the slideshow appear out of the dark?

I have a question - how to make the first picture in the slideshow appear out of the dark? Without any text? In other words, how to make it fade in? In smartshow 3d. I have not found how to do this.

I have not found a way to do this either?
The first photo in a slideshow appears to be fixed, so if there is a way to make the first picture fade in or zoom in from a black background, it would be great if Lesley could find out for us and post the answer here?

Re: how to make the first picture in the slideshow appear out of the dark?

I make it this way:

1. Open Slide editor
2. Go to Animation and change Opacity to 0%
3. Add another keyframe at the moment where you want the photo to become visible
4. Go to Animation once again and change Opacity to 100%

As a result the photo appears out of the dark))
This way I usually create my own title clips (you can save your result and use it with other projects)

Thanks for the advice Cindy!

The same can be done with the text actually.
You can add a text layer and then make it appear at a speed you need.

I see.
I have forgotten, that I posted this question actually and already created my 1st slideshow.
But I will try to experiment with opacity next time.

Thanks everyone!
