Topic: black preview screen

starting a new project and dragging a photo onto the storyboard my preview screen keeps "black". No clue why that is. Any idea or help?

Hi!
There could be several reasons why the preview screen remains black.
1. The program hasn't loaded the photo yet. Try waiting for a few seconds and clicking Play.
2. The image file may lack some important information needed for the software to display the picture. In this case, try converting your image file to PNG or JPG using any image converter.
3. Some files are missing in the program folder. If this is the case, you need to reinstall the program.
