In case anyone have the same issue, it has been fixed with the help of the support team. The solution is to completely reinstall the program.

Hello,
The very first time I cut the video the pop-up message asked me if I want the length of the slide match the length of the video. I selected yes and also, checked the checkbox "Do not ask again". It did it right, and I assumed it would behave the same way for other cuts. But it didn't, and I don't have a pop-up message anymore, and no way to do it from the Cut Video screen. I can obviously just cut the slide in the timeline, but that is not very convenient.

Please, advise.
