Hi! You can delete an effect in the slide editing mode. Just do the following:
1. Double-click the slide
2. Select the effect layer in the right-hand sidebar
3. Press Delete on your keyboard

When editing a slideshow,
one of the animations I was given had snow falling.
I like the background, but not the snow.
How can I place just a simple black background behind the slides/transitions?
