On how many devices can the software with the same product code be activated?

The license allows you to install one copy of the software on one computer. Transfer is allowed in emergency cases such as hard disk crash, or when you buy a new computer. I've got a question about activation. On how many devices can the software with the same product code be activated? I'd love to put the software on 2 pc's, and I've tried to search the internet and forum, but there's no answer on this question.
