Great question Andy!
You can adjust the animation timing - find the Animation start setting, choose After and enter the seconds. Then move on to Duration and decide when animation has to end. Here's a screenshot to show you where to look:

I think this feature is great, but is it possible to add animated text in the middle or end of a slide? It always seems to appear at the beginning, and sometimes I would like it to appear towards the end.
