Missing image

When I try and create a video, before it begins it comes up with a message to the effect that there is a missing image (which it names) and asks me if I wish to continue. If I say "Yes" it all seems to work fine and I can see no blank images in the final video.

However, going through all the slides, I can find no reference to the missing image, nor see a "grey" blank missing image.

So my questions are...

1. Why is it doing this?
2. Is there a way to find out what slide is supposedly missing the image?
3. How can I fix this problem?

FYI - I have the latest version of SmartShow3D and have been using it for some time now and have never come across this before.

Use a specific font

Normally to write a text I use the font Ravie, would it be possible to have a standard text level directly in Ravie?

slideshow in 5 minutes

After I bought and installed the new 25th edition - the slideshow in 5 minutes crashed all the time.
How can this be resolved?

Combining Projects

Is there a way of combining one or more Projects to create one larger Project, e.g. if you have 1,000 photos and these are split over several different days, can you create a Project for each day/date and then combine all of the Projects (Dates) into ONE slideshow? Many thanks.

Can't apply effects

Hello!

I'm a new SmartShow 3D user (full version, v24.0). I started using the software and when I try to "Apply Effect", nothing happens. The slide stays as it was, I get a slide with the picture shown as added for the entire slide duration.

I tried changing the slide duration to match the effect's duration but got same result.

I can apply transitions and titles without a problem, but effects don't work... I also can create my own effects (edit slide).

Anyone else has same issue? Did you resolve it and if so, how?

I have opened a support ticket (#159568) yesterday but waiting for an answer (will report here if problem gets resolved).

I am using SmartShow 3D on Parallels for Mac on a MacBook Pro (Windows 11 - latest version up to date - same with Parallels).

My self made Templates

Does anyone know in which folder the self-made templates are placed in Windows? I can't find this folder. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the name of a self-made template via the program itself. I would like to do this in the folder itself. I have a lot of templates that I want to create.
I know that they can be found in the program section Clips -> My Templates but I can't solve the problem with that.

Program crashing constantly [Resolved]

New user here. Ive been using the software for a few days and it was working fine until yesterday. I cannot create a new project using a template. After Im done adding my pictures in jpg format I press next and im taken to the add music/sound screen. When I press next I get a progress bar that crashes at about 40 - 60%.

The program has also crashed on me when I was modifying slides in the story board.

Has anyone seen this issue?

Problem with exporting the project

Hello, I created a project with 107 slides, added gif animations, added music - all looks very impressive. But - coming to export it - it stops. Trying many trimes but it stops sometimes at 26%, 34%, 96%. I wanted to use mp4 1920X1080. I read your suggestions at your thread - how to solve this, checked my video/graphic card - all are ok. I don't want to use the medium quality. How can I solve this problem?
I see that many other poeple are asking the same question. Maybe there is some bug in the software?

Adding music from collection [Resolved]

When trying to add a piece of music from the "music collection" it won't let me listen to it before adding it to my slideshow. Also if I click on the "Add to Slideshow" button it won't add it unless I have my headphones plugged in, and finally if I do all that and then add it and subsequently remove the headphones and attempt to play the music back through the speakers it doesn't play.

I am using the latest version of SmartSHOW 3D - any ideas?

Update - If I go back to any of my previous slideshows I have created the music no longer plays, even if I have my headphones attached.

Ok - This has now been resolved - the software must have got into some weird state, shutting it down and re-starting it resolved the issue.

Memory leak? [Resolved]

Hi,

I bought the software this week and was very happy with it, until I suddenly run into an issue where the program will crash on me. This happens during a slideshow with quite some photo's and video's. While previewing I can see the memory usage going up in Task manager until it reaches 4 GB. After that it crashes. Is there a memory leak?

Running this on a high end gaming laptop (RTX 3080, Ryzen 9 5900HX, 32 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro) I see the software is 32 bit. Is there a 64 bit version available?

Does anyone recognize this problem? It seems like this started happening when I added all my photo's and video. I have hundreds of them. They all have their own slide. It looks like during preview the memory usage goes up drasticly until it crashes. Is there an option to use less memory during preview so I can finish our vacation slideshow? Or can the software use my full 32 GB of RAM that I have?

Program crashing when videos added [Resolved]

The program just shuts down when I put videos in and either preview or try to manipulate them. I have tried it on two computers, one with windows 10 and integrated graphics and one with windows 11 with a dedicated graphics card. I have been sending messages back and forth with support for a couple weeks. Still no resolution.

Using Photo editor causes system to hang [Resolved]

Good afternoon,

I purchased this morning and it seemed straight forward. However, I wanted to turn a picture into black and white.

I opened the slide for editing, highlighted the picture layer, selected the layer tab and clicked the Photo Editor button.
I put a tick in the convert to Black & White and nothing happens when I click apply. Then after a few seconds I get a small spinning blue circle and the screen fades. If I then click on it it says that smartshow 3d is not responding and crashes.

I have tried many settings on the Photo Editor page and I get the same result.

I have an Nvidea 2070 and is ample for photoshop and the driver is upto date.

I cannot complete my project at this moment in time. Any help is appreciated.

Program crashing on Windows 10 PC [Resolved]

I've been using SmartSHOW 3D for a few months without too many issues but recently the program has started to crash to the point its now almost unusable:

Message windows reads "SmartSHOW 3D is not responding...."

I've just re-installed the program but that doesn't seem to help.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi folks, newbie here, love the product so far... Just loaded SS3D 20 on my new Dell XPS 8940. Working on a project and have started to see the app crashing. It just closes, no error messages, I can restart the app fine, but it has been crashing again and again. It has crashed on a save command or working with Video (cut/crop).
