Special transitions: The Finger Effect

On a video in the SmartShow Web site, featuring sample transitions and animations, there is a human-looking finger that comes down from the top and pushes a slide away. Is that finger effect somewhere in my version 16 program and, if so, where?

Sharing Templates

Are you able to share your templates you make with others. I use to use Proshow and you could in that, they then closed but strangely Photopia then was what they recommended and you could in that as well. I have been paying for a subscription for that, but is so buggy. I have a decent PC but it seems to struggle. SO so far I seem impressed with this.

Is it possible to create the effect of a picture (either layer or slide) folding in half, or unfolding like a card.

I've tried duplicate layers with crops. masks and 3d rotation but can't get the correct effect

cross-fade music

another question regarding my old Photoshop Gold :
you could add a number of music tracks ( as you can in smartshow), but you could cross-fade the tracks by offsetting the start of one track with, for example, -1 sec, -1,7 sec, etc. Music that fades away, or has a long slow fading end, could then, while it was still fading, be crossfaded with the new track, just like a crossfade in images. Is this possible in smartshow ? And how ?

text font on all slides

in my beloved Photoshow Gold you could make a title on one slide, then right-click and you could then choose to copy the font type, all settings like colors and borders included, to all slides. Is this possible in smartshow, and how do you do it ?

Copy a slide

As a new user, forgive me if I'm missing something obvious! I have used the 5 minute slideshow option, but need to add a couple of extra slides to what I've done. I cannot see how to easily copy a slide?? I have tried to get around this, by saving one slide as a template and then inserting that. However, when I insert the template, I do not get the same background as the other slides, but a darker one. I am using the 'Our wedding' set.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I have more than 2000 family photos from the 1880s through 1990s that I digitized.

using this software program -

1. Can I add captions on specific photos?

2. can I make a slideshow with photographs just appearing? i.e. no transition effects

3. is there a specific DPI or resolution or “Print size” or “image quality“ for the photographs? I am using adobe Photoshop elements 2021 to lightly crop and edit, as needed.

my goal is to make many different types of slideshows, By decade, by surname, by holiday or occasion, etc.

How to order by date taken

Hi,
Thanks in advance.
I like to bring in a folder of a particular vacation and want to begin editing from there. Names could vary, since the source may be one of two or more phones and a point and shoot camera, so ordering by name is not easy. I would like to have slides already in order by date taken. Even if I organize by date taken in Windows explorer, when I drag them into SmartShow 3d, they are not in Date Taken order.
Any hints??
