Hello Friends using Smart Show 3-D,

Can someone tell me, or send me a link that shows me how to duplicate part of my (in progress) music/with photos video?
I am using Smart Show 3-D the newest version.

I wrote a song, added my lyrics, and now i simply want to duplicate the last chorus area.. to include both the images and sound.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm very new to slideshow3d and I've been having some problems. I need to know if its possible to copy an entire slide with all the effects, pictures etc while working in a project? I am using a template. I'm also having problems with the program crashing when I press next in the add music/sound screen but that might be for a different topic in the forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently upgraded to the latest version. I am trying to make sure all the standard collages are there. Not counting the collages for different themes. Just the generic collages for 2 or more photos.

I count 39. Is that correct?

Aspect ratio questions [Resolved]

When I design my slideshow and then create a video (mp4) for playback on my TV I use the 16:9 aspect ratio.

When I view this on my computer it plays back and looks exactly like I created it, however, when I play it back on my widescreen TV (even setting the aspect ratio on the TV to 16:9), it does not play it back as expected. It appears as though the slideshow is bigger (both horizontally and vertically) than can fit on the TV screen.

So, any ideas - other than get a new TV?

Are there any settings that I can select when creating the finished slideshow (mp4) that can correct this problem?

What I don't want to do is re-do the entire slideshow from scratch leaving extra blank space around all the edges.

Sorry, I am a newbye.
When I add a second .mp3 music file to the timelist of a project, it goes automatically at the end of the first one.
Is there any way to MOVE that second file to a later position, leaving some silence space between?

I'm a new user and a bit stuck!

I'm trying to overlap music by using the voice as well. However the voice volume is much lower and I can't find a way of adjusting it, even with audio points. I right click and the audio volume option is greyed out.

Is there a tutorial focusing entirely on the music?

I did a search in the forum for music to get some tips, got 430 results returned, about 350 of which were someone advertising his free music resources!

How to shorten a template [Resolved]

Help please... I'm using a template that has 4 photos and a final end message. I don't need that so I deleted that portion of the template, but now my template continues as if there is a message. It basically continues playing with just the background for an additional 4 seconds. I also made sure that there were no keyframes that were in the last 4 seconds of the template. But no matter what I do, the additional 4 seconds remain there. I just want to cut that portion off. I don't know if its important to note that this template is from the "Senior Photos" template that I purchased as an addition.

Cut Video problem [Resolved]

Hello,
The very first time I cut the video the pop-up message asked me if I want the length of the slide match the length of the video. I selected yes and also, checked the checkbox "Do not ask again". It did it right, and I assumed it would behave the same way for other cuts. But it didn't, and I don't have a pop-up message anymore, and no way to do it from the Cut Video screen. I can obviously just cut the slide in the timeline, but that is not very convenient.

Please, advise.

Different Format into smart show 3D

I was successful in transferring a previously made video to SmartShow 3D, the only thing is, there is audio on the original slide show, but it did not transfer. Is there a way of doing this?

one of the animations I was given had snow falling.
I like the background, but not the snow.
How can I place just a simple black background behind the slides/transitions?

Under the Settings menu there is Manage Favorite Folders but I can't find any information as to how folders can be saved.

All the right hand icons in the window are greyed out.

Changing multiple slides or transitions in bulk [Resolved]

I am a longtime Proshow Producer user--but I have a new computer and can't activate Proshow anymore. My shows are fairly basic--only cross hatch transitions, no zooming or motion etc. But being able to time the slides precisely is important to match shifts in the music.

I am trying to figure out how to make changes to slide timing and transition timing in bulk. With Proshow you selected a number of slides with SHIFT-click, made the change to one, and it flowed to all selected. That doesn't seem to work with SmartShow (although it did in the trial version, when I was testing it). How does one do this?

Also, can you type in a fractional amount of time--and have it stick? I can type in 3.3, for instance, but can't really tell if it is longer than 3.0 sec. It makes a difference, again when fitting a group of slides to a stretch of music or more precisely times a single slide.

Thanks--I'm hoping this will be a good substitute for my beloved Proshow, which I have been using since 2005.
